Kriti Sanon is a very popular Indian actress in the Hindi film industry. She made her debut in the 2014 romantic comedy “Heropanti” and subsequently appeared in various commercially successful films such as Dilwale (2015), Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017), Luka Chuppi (2019), and Housefull 4(2019). 

She has established herself as a leading contemporary actress in Indian cinema and garnered critical acclaim for her performances. In 2020, she starred alongside Akshay Kumar in the Horror-comedy film “Bachna Ae Haseeno“, one of that year’s most successful films. Early Life 

Kriti Sanon was born in New Delhi, India, on July 27, 1990. She is the elder daughter of Rahul and Geeta Sanon. Her father is a Chartered Accountant, and her mother is an Associate Professor at Delhi University. She has a younger sister named Nupur Sanon, a model, and actress. 

Kriti attended the Convent of Jesus and Mary School in New Delhi, where she completed her high school education. She then pursued a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics & Communication from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida (UP).

At 17, Kriti started modeling for print ads for brands like Mahindra Scorpio, Vivel, Bata shoes, etc. Her first television commercial was with Akshay Kumar for their joint venture ‘Vinegar’, featuring John Abraham & Ritesh Deshmukh alongside them. 

Kriti debuted in films with 1 Nenokkadine‬ opposite Mahesh Babu which made its way into success ever since it had released worldwide.

Kriti Sanon is an Indian actress and model who works in Hindi-language films. She made her film debut in the 2014 action-comedy Heropanti, which earned her a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut nomination. She also won the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFAs) and Stardust Awards for best female debutante for her performance in Heropanti that same year. 

Sanon went on to star in many other successful projects, such as Dilwale (2015), Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017), Luka Chuppi (2019), and Panipat (2019). She began her acting career with the Telugu psychological thriller 1: Nenokkadine (2014). Sanon then played a two-starring role opposite Tiger Shroff in the action drama Heropanti (2014), which earned her a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut nomination. 

She subsequently starred alongside Varun Dhawan, Kajol, and Varun Sharma in the romantic comedy Dilwale (2015), a box-office success. She brought critical acclaim for her lead performance as Parvati Bai in Ashutosh Gowariker’s period drama Panipat (2019). 

Sanon also featured opposite Rajkummar Rao in Bareilly Ki Barfi and Arjun Patiala; she won several accolades for the former including a special jury award at IIFA Awards and Stardust Awards’ Editor’s Choice Award – Female. In 2018, she made her Tamil debut with 96; it emerged as one of highest grossing Tamil films of that year. She also starred in Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar, and Yami Gautam in Bala(2019).

5. Lions Gold Awards: Kirt Sanon also bagged a prestigious Lions Gold Award in 2018. Sara Ali Khan gave her away honoring her excellent performance in ‘In Bareilly ki Barfi’ movie, which was released the same year.
