Three memorandums of understanding were signed between the police department and premier institutes IIIT-Sri City, IIT-Tirupati, and IISER-Tirupati in the presence of the DGP on the first day of the Andhra Pradesh State Police Duty Meet. the department will be based on artificial intelligence, IoT, and robotics engineering. It will assist in smart traffic management and cybersecurity architecture to cope with the rising cybercrimes in the state.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has inked an MoU with Esri India, to build a Centre of Geospatial Excellence on Spatial Modeling and Analysis with devoted facilities for research, advancement, and tests. The Centre will encourage the improvement of technical knowledge and specific skills among the industry, students, and academicians around geospatial technologies and the current toolkits such as AI, ML, and geospatial Big Data Analytics.
IRCTC’s introduced an AI chatbot AskDISHA helps 'improve' user experience
IRCTC AI-enabled chatbot AskDISHA claims to have enhanced satisfaction of client interactions by 70%. Developed by conversational AI-platform Conover and driven by Microsoft Azure, the virtual assistant applies systems such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and then organic word processing to reply to passenger queries. IRCTC has partnered with CoRover to co-sell and re-sell AI services and products to private companies as well as government across sectors.
Uttar Pradesh to design AI-based common beneficiary database
UP has prepared a typical beneficiary database of the people who, according to the family profile, are qualified for numerous schemes. This Artificial Intelligence-based database can help the government to target people with all of the schemes they're suited for and stay away from duplication of efforts in the method of approaching different schemes. To set up a Centre of Excellence for AI startups the state has also partnered with IIT Kanpur. This collaboration is under the new start-up policy of the state.
AI algorithms detect diabetic eye disease inconsistently
A new analysis appears at the usefulness of 7 AI-based screening algorithms to analyze diabetic retinopathy, The researchers deployed the algorithm-based technologies on retinal pictures from about 24,000 veterans who desired diabetic retinopathy screening using the Veterans Affairs Puget Sound Health Care System & also, the Atlanta VA Health Care System from 2006 to 2018. The performance of algorithms has been inconsistent as of now however, the study looks promising.
