Jr NTR is a well-known Tollywood industry superstar. He gave a different meaning to acting in Indian Cinema. He is known for his extensive abilities in dialogue delivery. Early Life

On May 20, 1983, he was born to Nandamuri Harikrishna (a film actor and politician) and Shalini Bhaskar Rao. His father was Telugu since birth as he was born at Nimmakuru, in the Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. His mother is from a Kannada family originally belonging to Karnataka.

He did his schooling at Vidyaranya High School, Hyderabad, and completed his inter-education at St. Mary’s College, Hyderabad. He completed his Graduation from Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. He is a trained Kuchipudi dancer and the half-brother of actor and producer, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram. 

Personal Life

Jr NTR married Lakshmi Pranathi, the daughter of a real estate agent and Entrepreneur named Arne Srinivasa Rao. His wife is the niece of N. Chandrababu Naidu, who acted as a mediator for the marriage. Their wedding took place on May 5, 2011, in Hyderabad at the Hitex Exhibition Centre in Madhapur. They have two sons named Abhay and Bhargav. Abhay is 8 years old, and Bhargav is 3 years old as of now.

Rama Rao is widely cited as Young Tiger in Tollywood. Apart from acting, directing, and everything he does on the career front, he has some hobbies like any other human. In his free time, he generally engages himself in activities like- Cooking, Dancing, Singing, and Reading.

He started his career at a young age, his first movie being “Brahmashri Vishwamitra”(1991), a Telugu movie at the age of 8 years as a child actor in the role of Bharata. Then afterward, he did his debut with Ramayanam in 1996.

He got popular as ‘Nandamuri Tharaka Rama Rao’ or in short as Jr NTR while shooting for the film “Brahmarishi Vishwamitra”.
